Dogsvilla Pet Rehoming Terms & Conditions
1. Rehoming Assistance Service
Dogsvilla provides a rehoming assistance service to help responsible pet owners find suitable new homes for their pets. Submission of this form does not guarantee that Dogsvilla will accept the pet for rehoming. Dogsvilla reserves the right to approve or reject any rehoming request at its sole discretion.
2. No Guarantee Of Adoption
Dogsvilla cannot guarantee acceptance into the rehoming program, immediate adoption, adoption within a specific time period, availability of suitable adopters, or adoption success.
3. Owner's Responsibility
The owner agrees to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information regarding health condition, vaccination status, medical history, behaviour history, aggression, bite incidents, previous ownership, and legal ownership status.
4. Bite History Disclosure
The owner agrees to disclose all known bite incidents involving adults, children, visitors, family members, or other animals. Any undisclosed bite history discovered later may result in removal of the pet from the rehoming program.
5. Medical Disclosure
The owner agrees to disclose medical conditions, surgeries, disabilities, medication, allergies, and ongoing treatments. Dogsvilla may request veterinary records for verification.
6. Rehoming Processing Fee
A non-refundable Rehoming Processing Fee of ₹500 is payable when submitting the rehoming request. This fee helps cover application review, listing creation, screening enquiries, marketing efforts, and administrative processing.
7. Adoption Completion Fee
If Dogsvilla successfully finds a new family and completes the adoption process, the owner agrees to pay an Adoption Completion Fee of ₹2,000, payable after successful adoption and transfer of the pet.
8. Adopter Selection
Dogsvilla reserves the right to screen adopters, reject adopters, conduct verification checks, and select the most suitable home. The final adoption decision will always prioritize the welfare of the pet.
9. Adoption Listings
The owner authorizes Dogsvilla to use photos, videos, pet information, and basic profile details for promoting the pet for adoption. Personal owner information will not be publicly disclosed without permission.
10. Post-Adoption Communication
Dogsvilla may share updates regarding the pet when available. However, updates cannot be guaranteed and adopter privacy will be respected.
11. Cancellation Of Rehoming Request
The owner may withdraw the rehoming request at any time before final adoption. The ₹500 Rehoming Processing Fee remains non-refundable.
12. Legal Ownership
The owner confirms that they are the lawful owner of the pet, have authority to surrender and rehome the pet, and no third party has ownership claims over the pet.
13. Limitation Of Liability
Dogsvilla acts only as a facilitator in the rehoming process and shall not be held liable for future behaviour, health conditions, or actions of adopters except as required by applicable law.
14. Final Decision
Dogsvilla reserves the right to reject any application, pause any application, remove any pet from the rehoming program, or refuse adoption where concerns exist regarding welfare, safety, or suitability.
